The exact same brand/series drive I bought years ago but in a 128GB capacity, gets a peak write performance of approx. I tried formatting into exFAT & NTFS with the same results. Sure, if you want to base it off of an extremely slow write speed, then almost anything will be faster. The back of the package indicates 10X faster is based off of PNY's write speed of 3.0MB/s. I then started copying an 8GB test file into the drive and it only achieved 28MB/s write speed (will be exceptionally slower if copying a lot of small files). On 1st use of the drive, the LED, which indicates that it's plugged in and flashes when active, didn't work, but I can live with that. Well, I can tell you that these new products aren't as good. I have a 128GB PNY drive (exact same series) that I bought a few years ago and the drive works great, so I decided to get the 64GB version because of my previous history with the PNY Attache series.
